Community Engagement Plan (CEP)

Community Engagement Plan (CEP)

Community Involvement and Outreach

The CEP will support the capacity building of community-based organizations and residents and aims to use the following strategies for effective community engagement: equitable decision-making, establishment of 3 advisory committees, a Promotoras model, community outreach and inclusive and culturally responsive communications.

Our Community Engagement Plan, supported by the Collaborative Stakeholder Structure, includes quarterly outreach events, the annual En Comunidad gathering, and ongoing social media engagement to foster inclusive, transparent dialogue and strengthen partnerships within the community.

Day One, Latino/a Roundtable, and SGVCOG will lead three advisory committees to ensure residents have a real voice in shaping local projects. Each committee will have a specific topic and provide a space for community members to share input, track progress, and hold decision-makers accountable.
