Tree Planting
Growing Shade, Health, and Climate Resilience: We’re Planting 1,000 New Street Trees!
Through tree planting, Pomona ACTS is creating cooler neighborhoods, improving air quality, and building long-term community resilience. This effort focuses not only on planting trees—but on growing deep roots with residents through hands-on engagement and education.
Street trees will be living in communities across the Pomona ACTS Project Area, shown in our program service map.
Cooling Streets and Strengthening Communities
This project will bring lasting environmental and community benefits through:

Planting for the Future
Street trees provide shade, reduce heat, improve mental well-being, and beautify neighborhoods. This project is an investment in a cooler, healthier, and more connected Pomona—today and for generations to come.
